The Macedonian NGO Svest proposes a project “Information communication technology in the education process” which continues to introduce information and communication technologies in the classrooms of Macedonian primary schools.
                    This project aims to empower young people by helping them develop the personal, technical and social skills for successful participation in the global culture and economy. This goal was accomplished by introducing information and communication technologies in the classrooms of Macedonian primary schools and in developing and implementing programs of professional development for teachers so that they can guide young people more successfully for the effective use of ICT resources.

                     The project engages youth in ICT-based activities fostering greater civic education and reinforcing multi-cultural learning and collaboration across borders of all kind. By providing Internet access and through professional development, Svest enables teachers and students to meet higher standards of learning, to attain unprecedented power to improve their lives.

                     The main idea of the Project is to train the team of coordinators (1 technical coordinator and 2 pedagogical coordinators) from all participating schools, which will carry out the same training seminars with the other teachers in their schools.  In addition, the trained team of coordinators is assigned in developing the basic idea of ICT integration in the educational process in other schools of the Republic of Macedonia.
