For more than 25 years, the counselors at our school have been doing their educational work with great success, teaching the young generations in the spirit and the values of its time.

The first counselor at this school was Blagorodna Nikodidinovska. After she left, there was Marija Hrovat as a successful replacement for the next 20 years. The use of the modern ways and methods in solving different problems in the field of education and also the innovations in the teaching process are partly a result of this counselor service at our school, whose basic aims are:

	To raise the educational process at the students to a higher and more quality level, to help them to get to the secondary school on the easier way
	To modernize the educational process at the school, by constant use of the modern teaching tools
	To include parents in the educational process so as to get better results in the teaching process
	To build up higher criteria for marking the students and to mark their knowledge objectively

The counselor’s service actively participates in the following projects:

	Descriptive marks
	Inclusion of the students with special needs
	Information-Communication Technology
	Civic Education
	Identification of gifted children

These projects help in modernizing the teaching process, in getting a better atmosphere in the classrooms, getting a bigger motivation for studying at the students, challenging the group and the team work.

The counselors’ service make all this aims come true by constant contacts, cooperation and communication with the students, the teachers and the parents.
